Frame
Regular ladder frame in lightweight steel construction with continuous crossmembers.
Maximum distributed load of 30 tons evenly distributed over approximately 1.5 m around the center of gravity of the payload.
Coupling plate approximately 8 mm thick, with a 2-inch kingpin according to DIN 74080 / ISO 337.
Coil trough with a length of approximately 9,000 mm (design according to VDI Guideline 2700) for accommodating coils with a diameter of at least 900 mm and up to 2,100 mm.

Chassis
Axle lift mechanism on axle 1.
Control of the axle lift is fully automatic and load-dependent.

Starting aid
Activated by pressing the brake pedal 3 times; 30% overload up to a speed of 25 km/h.
Operation on the chassis via a switch.
Can also be operated from the cab (switch in the cab required - PIN 12).

Three-axle unit SAF INTRADISC
With disc brakes Ø approximately 430 mm, track width 120.
Air suspension with approximately 180 mm of travel.

6x 385/65 R 22.5, 160J

Chassis components
Fifth wheel supports, mechanical, with compensating foot, 24-ton lifting capacity, single-sided operation on the right side when driving.
Splash protection system (spray mist suppression) in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 109/2011 for three-axle unit with tires 385/65 R22.5, consisting of 1 pair of quarter-circle fenders in front of the axles, 1 pair of straight fenders with mud flaps between the 1st and 2nd axles, and 1 pair of quarter-circle fenders with mud flaps behind the axles.
Lateral protection device according to ECE-R73.
Storage for 8 square tube inserts, dimensions approximately 340 x 220 x 2,150 mm, installed behind the axle unit.
2 plastic toolboxes, waterproof, dimensions (internal) approximately 545 x 400 x 400 mm. Installed at the rear, 1x on the left and 1x on the right.

EBS system 2S/2M with stability program (includes ABS/ALB function).
Air suspension system including 1 lifting and lowering valve, mounted on the left side when driving behind the axle unit.

Floor
Mounted version on both sides.
Steel pallet load securing bars with VarioFix hole pattern (screwed on), on the left and right side when driving, for a width of approximately 2,468 mm (loading height reduced by approximately 20 mm under the outer frame).
Flat floor approximately 30 mm thick, multi-layer glued plywood, recessed in the area of the coil trough.
Coil trough side walls covered with plywood sheets approximately 18 mm thick.
Floor caulked around the entire perimeter. Coil trough cover made entirely of wood, with a flat floor approximately 27 mm thick.
Pocket for square tube inserts approximately 80 x 80 mm, arrangement according to drawing A2, 2 pairs on the longitudinal beam in the 1st and 2nd position, 8 pairs in the outer frame.
8 pairs of pockets in the coil trough for accommodating square tube inserts approximately 80 x 80 mm, arrangement: 1st pair at the beginning of the trough at the front, 2nd - 7th pair according to standard drawing, 8th pair at the end of the trough.

Superstructure
