Driver Assistance Package:
Travel more safely and with greater relaxation. The assistance package is an intelligent combination of 4 assistance systems that support you while driving and can enhance safety. They help you maintain a minimum distance, detect vehicles in the blind spot, and keep your lane. In critical situations, the assistance systems can help avoid accidents or mitigate their severity. The proactive occupant protection system PRE-SAFE® can detect critical driving situations at an early stage and initiate precautionary protection measures.

Distronic:
More safety through distance. The Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC can maintain the distance to the vehicle ahead as set by the driver, assisting on motorways or in stop-and-go traffic. The system accelerates and brakes autonomously with up to half of maximum braking power to maintain a safe distance. If greater braking is required, the driver receives a visual and acoustic warning, enabling them to brake as needed. In a potential collision, the Active Brake Assist further intervenes to help prevent an accident where possible.
