Mercedes Benz L 3500-42

First registered on 4 October 1950 by the current owner.

This model, also known as a "light long-nosed truck," is the first chassis independently designed and produced by Mercedes-Benz after World War II.

The body was built by Ackermann in Wuppertal.

In the 1990s, the truck was restored over a period of 6 years by the company Karosseriebau Hubert Schröder from Eschweiler.

The 2011 appraisal rates the vehicle's condition as 2+ (very good)

Except for the restoration period, the Mercedes-Benz was registered and spent most of its time in a purpose-built garage.
