The ISUZU D-Max is a rear-wheel drive pickup with selectable all-wheel drive and belongs to the N1 commercial vehicle category for off-road vehicles.

The D-Max type BTF (from model year 2020) is available for the European market in the following versions:

* Engine: 1.9 L Common-Rail VGS turbo diesel with 120 kW and 360 Nm
* Transmissions: 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic (automatic not available in Single Cab)
* Cabs: Single Cab (SiC), Space Cab (SC), and Double Cab (DC)
* Trim levels: L (all), LS (SC and DC), LSE (SC and DC), and V-CROSS (DC)
